Occupational Therapy

We are a private practice situated at Eden College in Johannesburg. We treat individuals from the
age of 3 years to adults.
Our Mission:

• To treat children and adults in a holistic manner with love and respect.
• To ensure caregivers understand the therapy process and are part of the intervention.
• To provide the parents and teachers with information to empower themselves and advocate for the children.
• To provide our clients with strategies and techniques to cope in their daily lives

What we treat:

• Developmental Delays
• Sensory Processing Disorder
• Sensory modulation difficulties
• ASD
• ADD / ADHD
• Fine motor problems, i.e. pencil grips or cutting with scissors
• Gross motor problems, i.e. catching a ball
• Visual motor integration, i.e. copying from the black board
• Perceptual skills, i.e. building a puzzle
• Social interaction and play difficulties

Within the school, we provide weekly occupational therapy group sessions to Grade R, and Grade 1 – 6 CORE. We also provide training sessions to the teachers.
